Oct 09: Tarleah is interested in Hairdressing or floristry.

Oct 09: Monique is keen on office administration, journalism, hair, beauty, fashion or interior design.  She is considering going to University.

April 2009: Kirby is keen on a career in hair or beauty.

April 2009: Ashleigh is keen on a career in hairdressing and is undertaking the Certificate III in Hairdressing VET sujbect at Shep TEC.

Sem 1 2008 – Sharna is interested in doing something in Beauty or Hairdressing.

Aug 2008: Sharna is interested in VCAL with the first option of VET Beauty / Welfare / Tech.

Sept 2008: Sharna is interested in doing work experience in either the childcare or beauty industry.

Sem 1 2008 – Rachel is interested in an apprenticeship in hairdressing or beauty. 

Aug 2008: Rachel is still interested in Hair?? VET Beauty?  And would be interested in the Defence Force when she leaves school…

Sem 1 2008:  Danielle is keen on Beauty Therapy as her first options, but is considering Hairdressing or something in the Health field e.g. Massage Therapy as plan B or C… Danielle has a good part time job and has done work experience at a hairdressers. She is going ok with her VCE results so far and is happy with her study habits.

Sarah has a plan and has thought through where she is heading. We discussed building her resume and potential work experience options in the hairdressing industry. She is currently doing well at school and has a timetable established for study.

Sem 1 2008: Belinda is really keen on working in the Beauty Industry, but is also interested in Social Work and Childcare.  Belinda did 3 mornings work experience at Bridie Knight and 2 days at Thai Nailz in Shepparton… She enjoyed both experiences.  She has her eye on a 6 month Beauty course in Melbourne at the Academy of Make-up – Prahran – when she leaves school.

Aug 2008: Belinda’s back-up plan if she doesn’t get into VET Beauty is an ASBA with CMC Child Care, and she is also interested in the VET Youth Welfare…..

Kymberlee has organised with the Hair Hut to begin a hairdressing apprenticeship.  She would like to undertake her work experience here also, so that she gets a good feel for the place before she starts.  She is going to approach the Hair Hut, complete the forms and return them to me when done.  Kymberlee should also look at the ‘Cold Calling’ site (link is supplied on this site).  Kymberlee also highlighted other industries she wouldn’t mind getting into: Gym/Physical Fitness & Dietition or Occupational Therapy.  Kymberlee is an ENFJ and enjoys being with people, will do well in a business environment and is creative and doesn’t mind a bit of science stuff.

Aug 2008: Kymberlee will probably do a full time apprenticeship hairdressing at The Hair Hut.  If that doesn’t happen she will do Year 11 & 12 – VCE most likely.
